Mike has been in at least 7 championship final's never to win once, perhaps this will be his year
Ian beat Mike in the first semi-final in what proved to be a match worthy of a final
Ian is now on course to win the Championship for a third consecutive year
The other semi-final is to be between Brian Holloway and Les Hancock
Brian has won the Championship, Les has been in several final's but never won this trophy
Ian will have to play Les Hancock in the final. Les having beaten Brian Holloway in another close match
Knowing Les's competative nature he will be going all out to stop Ian winning for the third year running
The Campionship is the one trophy they all want to win.

By doing so Ian won the Championship for the third season in a row, the first time since Stuart Lewis in 1990/1/2
Ian still has a long way to go to catch Stuart up. Stuart won the title 7 times in all.
Ian has time on his side as he is one of our youngest players
