WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PLAYER'S YOUNG OR OLD
TO JOIN A PROGESSIVE CLUB. WE WERE FIRST ESTABLISHED IN 1965

We have won the mid-week league and are now The SECOND DIVISION CHAMPIONS in the the Saturday CML league
There is no promotion or relagation from the mid-week league
In the Mid-week league we have won 16 out of the 18 games played
We have 197 points in total with a shots difference of over 450 shots plus
We will be involved in a league play off, against Llandaff fields on Sunday 12th September
In the Saturday league we have won 8 out of the 10 games played with a shots difference of plus 91 shots
We have gained promotion into the first division
Ferndale have now got 96 points to our 101 points so it means we have won the league and are the champions
This is due mainly to the excellent team spirit within the club, and the belief in our selves
With our heads not dropping when we are behind, but digging in and trying harder
Well done Lance Timothy for his excellent work this season
The standard is a lot higher in this league, with hardly a week going by without playing against internationals or county players
Indeed two of Caerphilly Town's team are of to Delhi to complete in the Commonwealth Games
Lets all wish them and the WELSH Team all the very best in what ever sport they have entered
You may be a youngster, just starting out into the sporting world. A slightly older player thinking, about retiring from rugby
Or any other active sport, but who wants to continue with a sporting activity, or you, may be someone just simply retiring from work.
Everyone is, assured of a warm welcome.
We have an Accredited Coach (WBA certificate, Bowls not Boxing) who is willing to offer coaching and / or help, to all interested players.
We can offer anyone who joins us the chance to play league bowls, representing Taff’s Well.
If you are AMBITIOUS, all the age groups offer YOU the chance to represent the, County, enter the Welsh Championships’, also to represent your Country.
There are County Championships, Welsh Championships and Internationals,
For the UNDER EIGHTEENS, UNDER TWENTY FIVES, SENIORS and even the OVER SIXTIES.
The Welsh team brought back medals from the Commonwealth Games (Melbourne 2006).
They will be off to DELHI in October to represent WALES
We at Taff's Well do get the opportunity to play against these internationalsI must admit it is a great experience

If you are interested why not come along to the Park in Taff’s Well on a Monday Evening from 5pm.(Season start's on April 17th – Finishes on September 18th)
and ask for me JOHN WATKINS(sec)

We meet on a Monday evening at from 5.00pm for a club night i.e. a roll up, where we all join in and have a game of bowls
