We were one shot up with the last woods to be bowled with Fairoak holding two shots

Mike with his last wood drew second shot to force a draw.

Wed 18^th Grange – MWL – Home – Result – Grange failed to provide a team. Match to be rearranged.

Sat 21^st Cardiff (Sophia Gardens) – WBA – Away - Result – Lost-77 shots to 78 shots

With just one rink still on green and one end remaining in the match we needed 3 shots to draw but unfortunately Ron Brown’s rink although winning their rink only managed to win the end by 2 shots leaving Cardiff Sophia Gardens winners by one shot, despite Taffs Well having 3 regular skips unavailable to play on the day.

Micky Yanez was the only rink to win ---- The bad green defeated the other 3 rinks ????

All four rinks lost with Alan Modley’s rink going into the last end level on 16 shots each but losing this end by 1 shot with each side holding shot at various times during the end. Also well done to the 4 reserves turning up at Senghenydd and their continued support

Wed 17^th – Grange – MWL – Home- Rearranged- Result - Once again Grange failed to turn up incurring us with rink fees for the 3^rd time this season and not having the courtesy to at least phone and let us know that they would not be turning up.I think the league management committee should insist that compensation by Grange for these rink fees are reimbursed to Taff’s Well B.C. and severely reprimanded for their actions. Result by Default 10Points
